United Voice aged care members welcome you to our website.
A Fair Share for Aged Care means thousands of aged care workers, their residents, clients, communities and colleagues, campaigning together across Australia to make:
• Government prioritise our industry; and
• Urge our employers to work with us on solutions.
Right now that means:
• Using our Low Paid Bargaining, our case in Fair Work Australia, to force our employers to bargain with us and to make the government fund our wage increases;
• Using the Pay Equity case in Fair Work Australia to win fair pay for those working in the community;
• Working through the Productivity Commission Inquiry process to ensure that a reformed aged care system is achievable and sustainable; and
• Making sure politicians know that aged care reform without fixing wages, workloads, training and recognition for staff is just not workable.
